N othing can beat a simple homemade burger on a lovely cold evening in the comforts of your home. Rather than store bought burgers, the burgers which you make at home with much fewer calories can be enjoyed without any guilt. All you need is to blend the minced chicken along with spices, dipped in egg and shallow fried, which will make a delicious burger pattie. This will make a perfect school lunch or for parties. This can be prepared within no time if you have all the ingredients with you. This can be ate just like that without sandwiching in the bun. Kids will enjoy them. Cucumber, Mint, Lemon Drink

I n case you are wondering where I have been, its almost a month and I am getting pampered by my in- laws and my parents in my home at Kochi, doing nothing, simply sitting n eating.. atleast thats what my weighing machine says ..:-) Now coming to the post, in this hot, sultry weather who doesn't like to have a big glass of iced juice and that too which is a good detox for your body. Cucumber and Melon Smoothie

Here is an easy to make and healthy recipe for a breakfast smoothie. Cucumber and melon are both rich in minerals and vitamins and pair very well in this delicious drink. Here is the recipe. All you need is Cucumber - 2 cups ( peeled and cut into small pieces ) Musk melon - 2 cups ( Skin and seeds removed and cut into small pieces ) Thick yogurt - 1 cup Mint leaves - 5-6 Sugar - 4 tsp Ice cubes - optional Method of preparation Blend cucumber, melon and mint in a blender to make a smooth paste. Add yogurt and sugar and blend well.Pour in glasses. Add ice cubes if you want. Garnish with melon and cucumber balls threaded in a skewer or a tooth pick.
