Gobhi ki Kheer \ Cauliflower Pudding

I tried this cauliflower kheer today and everyone in the house fell in love with it. The kheer has a lovely texture and taste and can be eaten warm or chilled. We personally like it chilled . Here is the recipe. All you need is Cauliflower - 1 and 1\2 cup ( cut into very small pieces ) Boiled rice- 1\2 cupFull cream milk - 1 liter Saffron - 8-10 strands Cardamom - 5-6 ( crushed ) Sugar - 1\2 cup Ghee - 1 tbsp Almonds - 8-10 ( crushed ) Cashew nuts - 8-10 ( crushed ) Kewra essence - 3-4 dr...

Looking for a different Gobhi recipe which tastes good as well? This achari gobhi is a delicious change from the regular gobhi ki sabzi and can be made with the basic ingredients that are used to make pickles. Here is the recipe. All you need is Gobhi \ Cauliflower - 3 cups ( cut into small florets ) Oil - 4 tbsp Onion - 1 cup Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp Tomato puree - 2 tbsp Curd - 2 tbsp Achari masala - 1 tbsp ( Recipe here ) Red chili powder - 1\2 tsp Salt to taste Lemon juice - 1 tsp Amchoor powder - 1\2 tsp Fresh coriander - 2 tbsp ( chopped ) Method of preparation Add 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add the gobhi florets and fry till slightly browned. Remove from the pan. Heat the pan again. Add the remaining 2 tbsp oil. Add onion and fry till slightly browned. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for a minute. Add tomato puree and curd. Fry for a minute. Add achari masala, red chili powder, salt and half cup of water. Fry for a minute. Add fried gobhi.
